Before You Begin
To ensure a successful transfer, please log in to your current registrar and perform the following steps for all domains you wish to move:
Unlock the domains: Ensure "Transfer Lock" is turned OFF.
Get Auth Codes: Export the Authorization Codes for your domains.
Need help exporting your codes? Some registrars do not allow you to export a full list of Auth Codes. If you are stuck, please contact us.
Step 1: Access the Transfer Tool
Step 2: Import Your Domains
You can enter your domain data using one of two methods:
β
Method 1: Copy and Paste
If you just have a few domains, you can paste the list directly into the text field.
Method 2: Upload CSV (Recommended)
For the smoothest experience, we recommend uploading a .csv file. This ensures accuracy and makes handling large lists easier.
CSV Format Requirements:
Column 1: Domain Name
Column 2: Authorization Code
Headers: Do not include a header row.
TXT Format Requirements:
Domain Name, Authorization Code in each line
To upload:
Click Upload File.
Select your prepared CSV or TXT file.
Confirm the correct filename is displayed.
Click Start Transfer to begin the validation process.
Step 3: Validation (Lock & Auth Code Check)
Once you click "Start Transfer," our system will automatically scan every domain in your list. It checks for two things:
Reviewing the Results: On the next screen, you will see a status report for your batch.
Green: The domain is unlocked and the code is valid.
Red/Warning: The domain is locked or the code is incorrect.
If you see errors: Fix the issue at your current registrar (e.g., unlock the domain), then click the Refresh button next to the specific domain to re-validate it without restarting the whole process.
Step 4: Finalize and Checkout
Once all domains show a status of Unlocked with Code successfully verified:
Review your final list.
Click Proceed to Checkout.
Complete the payment to officially initiate the transfers.
