Atom Premium listings require an exclusive listing arrangement due to Atom's substantial marketing investment, which generates over 65 million impressions annually.
In addition to our ongoing marketing efforts, Atom automatically syndicates Premium listings across several partners, including Sedo and Sedo MLS, providing domain exposure across 650+ registrars and additional platforms.
To maximize the visibility of Premium listings across major registrars and selling partners, Atom also offers a "Partial Exclusivity" benefit. This allows sellers to list eligible domains on Approved Selling Platforms outside of Atom.com.
Starting September 2, 2024, we're introducing a Commission Match Guarantee for these platforms.
What is Atom's Commission Match Guarantee?
We believe that our marketing investments and discovery tools accelerate the sales of Premium domains. To support this belief, we've introduced the Commission Match Guarantee for Premium listings that sell outside of Atom through Approved Selling Platforms.
If you qualify for the Commission Match Guarantee (as outlined below) and your Premium listing sells outside of Atom via an Approved Selling Platform, Atom will pay you 10% of the Atom BIN price, up to $300 for each eligible sale. The funds will be deposited into your Atom account once the sale is verified. This is our way of helping to offset the commissions you may incur with other selling platforms.
Sale Verification
To verify a sale through an Approved Selling Platform, you must:
Report the off-platform sale via your dashboard within 72 hours of the sale.
Upload email confirmation of the sale.
In some cases, we may request a live screen share of your Approved Selling Platform account to fully verify the sale.
Terms & Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Commission Match Guarantee, you must meet the following criteria.
Sellers who have reached Silver, Gold, or Platinum status by maintaining 50+ premium listings are eligible.
Your account must be in good standing (with no unresolved violations within the previous 90 days).
You must opt-in to the Commission Match Guarantee through the Marketplace settings section on your dashboard and agree to the full terms. If you were previously using Atom's Reduced Commission Benefit, you will no longer be eligible for it, as only one benefit can be active at a time.
The benefits will be activated once you opt into the program and will apply to any sales made after September 2, 2024. If you opt in after this date, the benefits will become active 48 hours later and will cover any sales occurring 48 hours after your opt-in time.
Only BIN priced, outright sales are eligible. The BIN price on the Approved Selling Platform needs to be at least 10% higher than the price you’ve set on Atom.com for the last 30 days.
The sale must occur on an Approved Selling Platform in accordance with Terms outlined in our Partial Exclusivity Benefits. Please make sure you are logged in to review the Terms.
