Domains are digital assets, and it is important to have a plan in place to handle your assets in case of Death or Disability.

You can now add an account beneficiary, who will be granted access to your Atom account if we are not able to get in contact with you for an extended period.

Here's how it works:

  • You can add an Account Beneficiary and enable Pulse check service from your Atom Account (under Marketplace preferences)

  • Our system will automatically keep track of your activity on Atom.com.

  • If we do not see you online for more than 90 days, we will send a "Check-in" message to your email address.

  • As long as you confirm the receipt of the email, we will not take any further action.

  • However if we still do not hear back from you, we will send an email to your designated account beneficiary with instructions on how to get in touch with us. We will also include your own "instructions" that you provided to us when adding the beneficiary.

  • We will assist your beneficiary in providing them access to your Atom account. In addition, we will provide them access to a Google Sheet with all your domain listings (Premium and Standard) on Atom.

  • If there are any funds in your Atom Account, we will assist in transferring those funds to them via PayPal, Payoneer or Wire Transfer.

  • We will also offer a phone consultation to your beneficiary in case they need assistance with managing or liquidating your portfolio.

Important Notes:

  • This feature is not an alternative to Will, Trust or Estate Planning. We strongly recommend engaging with an attorney to create a formal plan for your assets.

  • Atom does not have access to your domains at the registrar (unless they are registered by Atom). Therefore, we will not be able to assist your beneficiary in getting access to the domains. They would need to contact the registrars directly and follow their respective processes to request access.

  • The feature works for both your Standard and Premium Listings.
