Domain Marketplace - Terms & Conditions (Sellers)

Atom reserves the right to approve or deny your Marketplace submissions.

Customers may cancel their purchase at any time before the domain transfer is complete. In such cases, payments are refunded and you will not receive compensation. The domain will be relisted.

Your account must be active and in good standing at the time of a domain sale in order for you to receive the compensation.

Atom may create custom logos or promotional images for some of your domains. These are the exclusive property of Atom and cannot be used or reproduced elsewhere without written permission.

Domains that include hate speech, discriminatory language, or target protected groups are not allowed.

Domains infringing on trademarks or impersonating known entities (cybersquatting) are not allowed.

AtomPay Sales: 4.5%

Standard Listings: 7.5%

Plus Listings: 15%

Premium Listings: 15% to 30%, depending on the final sale price

Premium Listings approved on Atom are exclusive to the Atom platform. You must point the domains to Atom’s name servers at all times while the listing remains active.

You are allowed to list the domain on approved selling platforms as long as they qualify under our Partial Exclusivity Policy.

To submit a domain for Premium Review, you must use Atom Coins. Coins used for submissions are non-refundable, regardless of approval outcome.

Sellers may opt-in to Auto Pilot Discounts or enable Atom Negotiation features from the Marketplace Settings to allow flexibility to Atom team in pricing or negotiations.

You may remove your premium domain at any time with a 30-day notice.

If the domain received an offer or inquiry within the past 30 days, the removal request will take effect only after the 30-day period.

Frequent or excessive removal of listings may limit your ability to submit domains in the future, as Atom invests upfront in branding and promotion for Premium Listings.

Atom will notify you of any reasonable offers or buyer interest.

You are not obligated to accept offers below the Buy-It-Now (BIN) price.

If you raise the BIN price within 7 days of receiving an offer or inquiry, you must notify Atom and provide a 72-hour window for the buyer to complete the purchase at the original BIN price.

If you remove your domain listing, you forfeit any rights to logos or other creative materials produced by Atom. These assets remain the exclusive property of Atom.

Selling a listed Premium domain outside of Atom while it is active on the platform is a direct violation of our Terms of Service. The only exception to this policy is selling the domain via an approved selling platform as long as it qualifies under our Partial Exclusivity Policy.

If a sale occurs off-platform before your 30-day removal notice has expired, you are required to pay Atom the applicable commission based on our commission structure.

You may use Atom Pay or approved third-party platform to complete the sale at a reduced commission.

You are not required to point Plus Listings to Atom name servers.

Plus listings are also eligible for Remarketing Ads. However, remarketing efforts will only begin once the domain is pointed to Atom’s name servers.

You have full control over pricing for Plus Listings.

Plus Listings are non-exclusive — you may list them on other marketplaces concurrently.

Atom may notify you of any offers or inquiries on your domains.

You are under no obligation to accept offers below your BIN price.

If you choose to raise your BIN price within 7 days of receiving an inquiry or offer, you must:

Negotiating with a buyer on Atom and completing the sale off-platform to avoid commission is not allowed.

If a third-party escrow service is preferred by the buyer, Atom can help facilitate the transaction to ensure compliance.

If a domain sells off-platform or you no longer own it, you are responsible for promptly removing it from your Atom account.

Failing to delist sold domains may result in future restrictions or reduced visibility in the Marketplace.

Upon approval, 100 points will be deducted from your account for each Atom-registered domain.

Atom will register the domain and become the legal owner of record.

These domains are exclusive to Atom and cannot be listed on other platforms.

Each domain is registered for an initial period of one year.

Atom may choose to renew the domain at its discretion. If renewed:

In the event of an auction sale:

Atom retains full control over pricing, payment plans, discounts, and promotional strategies for Atom-registered domains.

Pricing may be adjusted at any time based on buyer interest or market conditions.

You may submit your Premium or Plus Domains to contests that allow such submissions.

If your domain is purchased by the contest holder, you will receive either the contest award amount or the domain payout (minus Atom commission) as per the selling price of the domain, whichever is greater.

Once a domain has been purchased, you agree to transfer the domain promptly to Atom's holding account in the same registrar or provide an Authorization Code (in case of a different registrar). The Atom team will then work with the buyer to assist them in transferring the domain to their ownership.

If the Atom team is not able to receive transfer instructions from the buyer within 5 business days, you may be asked to transfer the domain to Atom's ownership so that you can receive the payment for the purchase price of the domain (minus any applicable commissions).

Once you have received the payment for the purchase price of the domain (minus any applicable commissions), you no longer have any rights to the domain.

Atom may publish details of completed sales within the private Atom dashboard and may also share notable sales on public channels such as social media or marketing materials.

If you prefer that a specific sale not be shared publicly, you may submit a request after the sale is completed, and Atom will make reasonable efforts to honor that request.
