Step By Step Instructions
To submit names as a Standard Listing, begin under your left navigation and click on Standard Listings/My Domains.
Submitting Domains As A Standard Listing
Here, you'll have two options when it comes to submitting domains into the Marketplace; you can submit them individually, or in bulk by providing a CVS document as shown above.
Once you click on 'Add New Listings', you simply type the domain name you'd like to submit along with the desired price point.
Once you click 'Upload Domains', you'll be directed to this page. You'll have the option to upgrade your domains to Premium by simply clicking the slider to the right of each name.
Note: Upgrading your domains to Premium does require using 1 coin.
Submitting Domains As A Premium Listing
To submit names as a Premium Listing, begin under your left navigation and click on Premium Listings/My Marketplace Listings.
Note: You can also get here by going to your Marketplace Dashboard.
Submitting Premium Domains
You have two options when it comes to submitting domains into the Marketplace; you can submit them individually, or in bulk by providing a CVS document.
Either process will have the same steps and will require the same information.
Submitting Domains You Own VS Unregistered Domains
Unregistered Domains
You have the ability to submit domains you do not own yet, but would like to own in the future. Once you submit an unregistered domain and if it is approved, you can then go and register the domain.
Our marketplace also offers the option where you can decide if you would like us to register the name for you called 'Atom Owned.' This low-risk option offers you the ability to gain commission when the domain sells without the need for any investment on your end.
Submitting Domains You Own
You must own the domain you would like to submit into the Premium Marketplace. If you are about to acquire a domain, wait until the domain is transferred to you and then submit it.
Once you're ready to submit a domain, you will see the fields that need to be filled in:
Domain Name
Desired Selling Price
Listing Type
The additional field, Description, is optional at this stage.
A reoccurring question we hear is 'does the selling price affect the domain acceptance rate?' Typically, no. However, if you input a selling price of $10,000 for a type of domain that typically list for $2000 on our platform, this major deviation in expected price will effect the ability for your name to be accepted.
Atom Coins
An important factor to know is when you first start your account, all names will be submitted via coins. You will need 1 coin per domain you submit.
However, if you are a domainer, you have the opportunity to contact our Chat Support Team and request the ability to waive coins. This will allow you to submit domains for free without investing in coins.
If you click on 'Get More Coins', you'll be redirected to a place within your Marketplace Dashboard.
There, you can decide how many coins you would like to purchase. 1 Atom coin is $1. However, if you purchase the coins in bulk (100 or more) you can save 10%.
Additionally, as you submit more domains in the Marketplace, you'll begin to move up within the different levels we have. Each level offers various benefits including bonus coins.
Benefits of Using Atom Coins
There are 4 primary benefits to using Atom coins when submitting domains:
Better commission rates
Faster reviewal process
Partially waive exclusivity requirement for your listings (Can list domains outside the platform)
No submission limits (can submit more domains at a time)
Acceptance Rates & Review Process
Acceptance Rates
Typically our acceptance rate stays between 6-8% since this is a very curated process. Our goal is putting the right names in front of the right people.
Review Process
When it comes to domains you own, the review process starts with our Expert Review Process. This is a panel of reviewers that provide a first round of feedback, but the final decision is made by Atom.
For domains you do not own, these domains are only reviewed internally by Atom and that process is lead by the Atom Branding Team.
In addition to our standard Expert Review Process, you now have additional choices regarding how your premium submissions are reviewed. You can opt to completely bypass the Expert Review process, or choose to have Atom team review all the names before they are accepted or rejected.
You can change this preference at any time from your Seller Preferences page.
Using Atom Coins
If you use Atom Coins, it will take between 3-5 days to get your domains reviewed. If you do not use coins, it may take several days or up to 2 weeks.
Email Confirmation
If your domain is approved, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the selling price as well as the commission rate.
You will then have a final step of approving the price and commission rate. Once you approve, the domain will then go live.
Conclusion
Once you have submitted a domain as a Standard or Premium listing and it is approved, be sure to check out our Additional Features article to learn about the different offerings you can utilize to take your domain portfolio to the next level.
